AFF course

Start your skydiving journey. The AFF course will teach you everything you need to jump from a plane safely.

What is an AFF course?

AFF (accelerated freefall) is a modern type of skydiving training, the aim of which is to teach the student to jump from an airplane completely independently.

This means that after completing AFF, the student is a skydiver who has mastered the basic position for free fall, opens his parachute safely and lands in a designated area at the airport. He knows the basics of a safe jump and can deal with emergency situations.

What does AFF consist of?

Timetable

Most students can complete the AFF course in 4 days up to 1 month. It depends a lot on the time the student can allocate, as well as airport operations, weather and individual abilities. Jumps are mostly carried out Friday-Sunday.

Where we jump?

We mainly use the airport in Slávnica near Trenčín for jumps, but after personal agreement we can also use many other airports in Slovakia, such as: Holíč, Prievidza, Lučenec, Trnava, Nitra…

About safety

During the jumping from plane, we humans as “ground” beings will probably never feel exactly at ease and completely safe.

But that is exactly what attracts us to it – fear, adrenaline, a new experience and the joy of “survival”. However, the fact is that jumping from plane, especially tandem and student jumps, are statistically a safe activity. Significant progress in the technology used, training options and sharing of experiences has made it safer today than the trip to the airport itself.

What do I need to do before starting the course?

Before starting the course, it is necessary to undergo a medical examination by a certified aviation doctor and basic administration (filling out and signing several forms).

We will be happy to help and give advice during this process. You will receive a list of doctors, all necessary forms and detailed instructions by email. At the same time, it is necessary to have completed a tandem jump or a solo jump “static line” – basic parachuting training – before starting the course.

What are the restrictions?

The applicant must be at least 16 years old in the calendar year in which the practical jumps will be performed. If the applicant is not of legal age (18 years), he/she must have consent to take the course signed by at least one legal representative, the signature must be notarized.

If there are individual health restrictions it is advisable to consult them with your doctor. Heart disease, problems with blood pressure and blood clotting are often problematic.

Instructors

Who will you enjoy the sky with?

A team of instructors with an adventurous nature, a sense of responsibility and a sense of individuality.

Lenka Čellárová

AFF instructor

I have been skydiving for 18 years, 14 of which I have been working as an instructor. Since my first jump, skydiving has become a passion for me. I have tried various branches of it, both marginally and competitively.

In my “work”, I focuse on safety, open communication and an individual approach. I still enjoy to experience the feelings of the first jumps of my students remembering me those mine.

I cooperate with several instructors whom I fully trust.
