What is an “A” license?
An A license is the first performance category in skydiving, after obtaining the “student” becomes a licensed skydiver and holder of an international skydiver’s license.
What does the course consist of?
The course is an extension of the AFF course and consists of 16 jumps, in which the student performs individual tasks in the area of body control in free fall, cooperation with an instructor, parachute flight and landing, which are necessary for the successful acquisition of an A license in accordance with applicable Slovak regulations.
He expands his knowledge and skills under the guidance of an instructor. He completes jumps from a different altitudes, gains the necessary experience with different weather conditions and types of jumps. He learns to pack his parachutehimself. After completing the course, he receives an international parachutist license with a performance category “A”.
What are the requirements?
The basic requirement for completing the A license course is the successful completion of the AFF course.
Timetable
The sequence of jumps depends on the student’s time, weather, and technical capabilities. The optimal number of jump days is approximately 6-8 days (2-3 jumps per day).
Where we jump?
We mainly use the airport in Slávnica near Trenčín for jumps, but after personal agreement we can also use many other airports in Slovakia, such as: Holíč, Prievidza, Lučenec, Trnava, Nitra, Spišská nová Ves.
